I want to jump on this "critique me" band wagon, but I'm not sure what images I should offer up for critique. I worry that people will have a hard time not critiquing the picture. I have very little control technique stuff like over lighting or point of view, and I worry that I would be so excited to see someone critiqued me only to find out they focused on everything but my performance. So I call on you my supportive watchers. Help me figure out what images to put up for critique, and maybe offer some of your own. Help me become a better artist.

..very sick. I am so thankful for all who have ed my images or ed me over the last few weeks or so, but I have had no energy to go through them all. I want you to know if I haven't individually thanked you for faving or watching me lately I really do appreciate it! Thank you for all the support.

Last night I fell asleep with an overwhelming pride for my country, and this morning I woke up and it was still there. I think that might have been the first time in my life that has happened. I honestly didn't think he would win. I had hoped, but honestly I didn't have that much faith in my country and a lot of the people in it. I figured that it would be close, there would be a recount and magically McCain would win. I know, call me pessimistic, but I had a hard time believing that something wouldn't go wrong. That very rich and very persuasive people would let a white republican, who is buddy buddy with Bush, demands a 'victory' in Iraq (whatever the hell that means), and wants to give tax breaks to gas companies, lose. Yes, I know, I have become a jaded pessimist when it comes to politics... but hell, what do you expect?
But no.
Obama won. Not only did he win.. but WE PAID FOR IT. The man said no to government funding and ran on donations from the American people. He not only gathered enough money for his campaign, but made record highs! No I don't think the election should have anything to do with race or gender or anything like that. I am just very proud to live in a place where not even seventy years ago we had separate bathrooms for black people, and now we have elected Barack Obama as president of the United States of America. That we are not purely driven by rich gas companies and crooked politicians.That we, the people can still make a difference. I was afraid that time had come and gone.


Can I also say THANK GOD that woman is no where near the white house. Alaska can have her.

I just wanted a new journal. I don't really have anything to say. I did finish reading Ishmael not too long ago. If you haven't read it... read it. It will change your life.
