grrr...

Thu Jul 10, 2008, 2:05 PM
... so in the attempt to try and rearrange my photos, then deciding I didn't like it.. and trying to change them back... I deleted a bunch of photo's. Now I'm irritated. F.

I thought maybe I would give all the photographers their own folder.. then decided I didn't like that... so I deleted one... well that deletes all the pictures. So I'm sorry Scott, but your the only one with you own folder.. and I don't want to delete them... so unless anyone knows how to put them back in to the featured section.. there they will stay. Even though now it looks weird.

Well, last night was an experience.

I had never had three cameras on me at once until last night. Luckily they were all people I know and care about. :)
It was a evening full of art, wine, and pizza so how could one complain?!
Keep an eye out for *photographydomine *LovittGirl/*LovittCreations and *Myndzeye for images from the evening. I'll have some up once I get them from these wonderful photographers.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! I know I am!!!!

red right ankle

Thu May 8, 2008, 2:19 PM
This is one of my favourite all time songs. I can't listen to it and not have an overwhelming sense of calm. If you get a chance to download it, you should.. it's wonderful.

Red Right Ankle

This is the story of your red right ankle
And how it came to meet your leg
And how the muscle bone and sinews tangled
And how the skin was softly shed
And how it whispered,
"Oh, adhere to me for we are bound by symmetry
And whatever differences our lives have been
We together make a limb"
This is the story of your red right ankle

This is the story of your gypsy uncle
You never knew cause he was dead
And how his face was carved an ripped with wrinkles
In the picture in your head
And remember how you found the key
To his hide-out in the Pyrenees,
But you wanted to keep his secret safe,
So you threw the key away?
This is the story of your gypsy uncle

This is the story of the boys who loved you
Who love you now and loved you then
And some were sweet and some were cold and snuffed you
And some just layed around in bed
And some, they crumbled you straight to your knees
Did it cruel, did it tenderly
Some they crawled their way into your heart
To rend your ventricles apart
This is the story of the boys who loved you
This is the story of your red right ankle

Poetry for the day

Fri May 2, 2008, 10:23 AM
If you haven't read anything by Dylan Thomas.. you should

Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night by Dylan Thomas

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on that sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
